Matteo Caldari: I must apologize for this; it appears to be my error. I just tried setting up a few tracks and it does seem to be saving my synth settings. The first time, I never went back to the main screen, so the project settings never got saved… so, I think, please disregard this bug report, it appears to be working!

George Sawyn: good to know, no worries! The state of a plugin is saved whenever necessary, for example after changing one of its parameters (either from the plugin's UI or with the mapped knobs). This allows for restoring a plugin's state in case it crashes. In this case the plugin's icon is replaced with a warning sign, and tapping that will reload the plugin and restore its state.
