Would also be great if song mode would have the option to make it stop at the end of the song sequence. So many other ‘song modes’ get to the end of the song and then loop back to the beginning and continue playing through it again. Would be nice to have the option to choose whether the song loops or stops at the end.

With that feature adde, I can see it been a super portable alternative to Laptop running Ableton + Controller.

a quick mockup. It would work like this: a set of columns each representing a "section" of the song. On top is the number of times (or bars, or beats) the section loops before going to the next section. Every section can host a clip copied (or linked) from the track clips.
