Pattern editing using a QWERTY keyboard

In Pattern edit view- keyboard command for activating step sequencer like COMMAND+/ or something- when step sequencer is active: - arrow cursors move the step placement forwards and backwards - notes can be input using the ‘Ableton style’ keyboard mapping, second row, chromatic notes, A, W, S, E, D, F, T, G, Y, H, U, J and Z and X for octave down and up. - < > could control velocity perhaps - Delete button acts as it normally should - When Shift is pressed, the lasso selection button (soon to be added) is activated and the arrow cursors move buttons control the note selection, which can then be modified using on-screen controls.- using a piano-roll like a text editor basically
