Better new project experience
It would be helpful to be able to start a new session without needing to create an actual file it is based on. Many other DAWs and similar tools allow this, because sometimes you just want to sketch or experiment with something without committing it permanently. And gathering a lot of temporary session files is unnecessary. One could reuse a single temp project file but that means cleaning/reconfiguring it every time which is also unnecessary.
On a related note, a new project should likely start with one track pre-created, as I can see no way that one would want to make music (or is even able to) without at least one track.
